The puppy was tired of being a mere spectator and wanted to go with a family.

Street dogs must be able to survive the dangers and antagonism that come with living on the streets. Many of them must live their entire lives without a home, but there are those who are lucky enough to find organizations that take them in and even place them for adoption with new families.

Although it can indicate a bright future, only a few are so fortunate. While others are welcomed by happy families, some puppies have to settle for being mere observers and remain in their cages.

When a request came to a dog shelter in Brazil, this happened to a little puppy that went viral on TikTok for its touching attitude.

According to Só Notcia Boa, it’s a German Shepherd puppy that clung to the leg of a young woman who came to look for possible puppies for adoption. The dog was so frantic that it seemed to communicate with its eyes and gestures that all it wanted was to get out of there.

The girl was simply considering which puppies she would like and which would be the best to take home. However, this dog was so eager to leave its small prison that all it wanted was to accompany her. In its eyes, it seemed to be “begging” to get out of there.

Despite the puppy’s obvious sadness, both the girl and the shelter staff found it amusing. The ‘dog’ was returned to its tiny cage after hanging from the girl’s leg for a while.

People who saw the TikTok video were moved but also felt sadness for the unfortunate little animal. “How can they keep saying that they have no feelings when they say that an animal like that doesn’t know what it’s doing and doesn’t understand anything about animals?” & “I cried even though I knew everything would be fine.” Some people commented: “It hurts.”
