Peter Cook and Becky Northey met in 1995, became partners, and began to shape trees into living art they called “Pooktre”.
Instead of cutting down trees for architecture, Peter and Becky believe that living trees can be shaped and brought into cities, bringing life, fresh air and beauty for hundreds of years at a cost. very low maintenance.
“Teaching others how to easily incorporate trees into our habitats is the way we have chosen to contribute to the health of our planet,” says Becky.
“We have been studying trees for over 41 years. Our tree shaping process is called pooktre. We have perfected a gradual shaping method, which is to shape the trees as they grow according to a predetermined design.”
