This is Jin Jin. Jin Jin is a cat who is okay with trying out new hairstyles, but he didn’t expect his next one to be a bit too much. Jin Jin has long hair, so his owner, Xie Qian Qian, likes to shave him every now and then to help him stay cool. It also helps to reduce the amount of cat hair around the house. Previously, Jin Jin used to get a cute lion-style haircut, where most of his fur remained on his head and tail.

A few months ago, Jin Jin’s owner was too busy to take him to his grooming appointment, so she asked a friend to drop him off instead. But there was a misunderstanding about what haircut she wanted for Jin Jin. Instead of his usual style, he ended up with a haircut that made him look like he was wearing a scary mask.

When Qian came to get Jin Jin, she was so shocked that she nearly fell down! “I didn’t expect the groomer to shave him like that. It’s not my fault,” Qian told The Dodo. But even though she was surprised, she couldn’t help but smile when she saw Jin Jin. Qian says her husband wasn’t thrilled about it at first, but eventually, he laughed about it too.

Yes, the haircut wasn’t great, but Jin Jin didn’t seem to be bothered by it much. “My cat is really calm and well-behaved,” said Qian.
