This is a story about a husky who is known as a kitten resquer. Let us introduce you, Banner – a 3-year-old husky. Her owner – Whitney Brailey trained the dog to help her with a lot of things since Banner was a puppy.
Whitney has a disability, so the husky isn’t just a dog for her, but a great helper and emotional support.
Over the years the pop has saved many kittens and even has become an adoptive mom to many of them.
“She is very attentive and connected to baby kittens,” Whitney said. “It was 2 years ago when Banner found her first kitten and raised her from a ditch. That cat still lives with us. Yet, this is not the last rescue story.”
Once when Whitney went for a walk with the husky, the dog found a box full of kittens. She immediately notified her owner. Whitney was shocked to see 7 one-day-old kittens at once.
Fortunately, all of the kittens survived. Whitney took care of them and decided to give them to caring families instead of taking them to a shelter.
Whitney is glad that because of her husky, these little kittens will be adopted by loving families.
The heroic dog continues to rescue little kittens and as if they are her own puppies!
The hero dog’s role in becoming an adoptive mom to the kittens not only saved their lives but also serves as a powerful reminder of the transformative power of love and compassion. It’s a testament to the resilience of animals and the positive impact we can have on their lives when we extend our care and support to them.
Overall, the story of the hero dog finding and adopting a box full of newborn kittens in the forest showcases the extraordinary bonds that can form across species and the incredible acts of kindness and love that animals are capable of displaying.
